Snaps on easy & securely but takes a slight more effort to snap off which is a good thing. Cushion is kind of thin but it allows it to still fit inside the carry case. It may be too thin for sitting on it all day long but for ENG or run & gun work its perfect for grabbing a few minutes of rest whenever I can.

Does it come with a zippered carrying case that holds the cushion and the stool?
It does not come with a Zippered Carrying Case. That is sold as a separate Accessory on the Manufacturer's Site.
