Celestron TrailSeeker ED 8x32 Overview

Designed as your go-to multipurpose outdoor optic, the Celestron 8x32 TrailSeeker ED Binocular features a suite of technologies and design features that will make it an essential part of your kit whether you're hunting, birding, hiking, or sightseeing.

Broadband anti-reflection fully multicoated high-performance extra-low dispersion glass deliver crisp, true-color images of breathtaking landscapes, vistas, or cityscapes. Phase-corrected and dielectric-coated BAK4 roof prisms maximize light transmission through the prism system, limiting internal diffraction and interference and improving image resolution and contrast. The combination of 8x magnification and 32mm objectives not only keep the overall form factor small so you can easily carry the binocular all day, but help to produce a comfortable exit pupil and eye relief that reduce eye strain and improve your glassing experience. When you put all these optical features together, you are presented with crisp and sharp high-contrast wide angle views with accurate color across the entire visible spectrum with limited distortion, especially at the edges.

Complementing its optical performance is a lightweight magnesium housing that is nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to make it waterproof and resistant to internal fogging when you move through extreme changes in temperature or environmental conditions. The body features an ergonomic design with rubber armor and strategically placed texture that offers a secure hold and a pleasant handling experience, with the large center focusing knob providing smooth adjustments. To help you with focusing and correcting for dioptric differences, the focus knob and the diopter ring are knurled and can be easily adjusted even when wearing gloves. Ideal for fast glassing on the go, the Trailseeker ED comes with tethered caps that won't get lost when you're out and about and a shoulder harness that eliminates strain on your neck and prevents it from swaying and swinging if you need to climb over rough and rocky terrain.

Optical Performance
  • Moderate 8x magnification brings subjects in close for observation while preserving the wide field of view and comfortable exit pupil and eye relief
  • 32mm objective lenses have the light-gathering ability close to a full-size 42mm model with the comfortable form factor like a compact
  • Roof prism light path keeps the optical tubes thin for easier handling and packing
  • BAK4 prisms deliver a round exit pupil and a crisp and clear image with limited edge distortion
  • Phase-corrected prism coatings reduce internal interference to improve contrast and resolution
  • Highly reflective dielectric prism coatings maximize light transmission through the prism system
  • Extra-low dispersion (ED) glass lenses offer true color representation, with improved clarity, contrast, and sharpness across the entire field of view
  • Broadband anti-reflection fully multicoated optics enhance light transmission for brighter and sharper views with enhanced contrast across the entire visible spectrum
  • 6.5' minimum focus distance is ideal for observing small subjects like hummingbirds, bugs, insects, flora & fauna at close range like at feeders or in gardens
  • Wide 62.5° apparent angle of view limits the appearance of the distracting hand shake often experienced when holding high-power optics
  • Spacious 410-foot field of view at 1000 yards
Use and Handling
  • Short closed-bridge configuration provides a stable platform for the internal focusing mechanism
  • Large knurled focus wheel is easy to manipulate in cold and wet weather or when wearing gloves
  • ±3 diopter adjustment on the right ocular enables precise focusing even for users who normally wear corrective lenses
  • Twist-up rubber eye cups for comfortable viewing with or without eyewear
  • Integrated 1/4"-20 socket on front of bridge hinge enables the use of an optional tripod adapter for hands-free viewing
  • Comfortable 15.6mm eye relief helps to reduce eye strain, especially during long glassing sessions
  • 4mm exit pupil will cover most pupils in normal light conditions, ensuring the entire landscape remains in view without vignetting
Construction Details
  • Short bridge design offers more surface area to grip, despite the short length, for improved handling
  • Strong and lightweight magnesium housing
  • Slip-resistant armor with textured palm pads improve grip security
  • Nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to an IPX7 rating: Waterproof to 3.3' for 30 minutes and resistant to internal fogging
  • Tethered one-piece ocular rainguard and objective lens covers protect the lens surfaces without the fear of losing them when using the binocular
  • Binocular harness shifts the weight from the neck to shoulders for more comfortable carrying while limiting swing and sway when moving over uneven ground
  • Compact design is less than 5" long

Celestron TrailSeeker ED 8x32 Reviews

Great Product!!!

The Binoculars Are Great!! The Problem I Have Is With The "free Gift". With The Binoculars I Recieved The Vortex Binocular Harness. The Free Gift That I Wanted Was The Tripod Adapter. As Much As I Tried To Change The Gift, The System Would Not Let Me Change It. So I Have Two Binocular Harnesses That I Have No Use For. One Came With The Binoculars And The Other Was The Free Gift. I Love The Binoculars But I Am Not Happy About The Harnesses.

Great product.

These binoculars are easy to set up, the optics are exceptionally clear, 8x32 results in fairly wide field of vision, and they are light enough to carry with you on a trek into nature.
