The system can transmit video to up to 330' when transmitting 1080p60 video and up to 115' when transmitting 4K30 video over Cat 5e or Cat 6 cable. The StarTech Ultra HD 4K HDMI over Cat 5e/6 HDBaseT Extender Kit (230') only comes with one power supply; however, the kit can be powered from either side with an Ethernet cable delivering power to the corresponding side.
