With a reverse folding design, it is extremely portable and is equally suited for the studio, outdoors, and travel. The legs offer independent spread and three locking positions and incorporate automatic leg angle adjustment for fast and sure setup. The legs are reversible for inverted shooting and storage, and the aluminum leg spider features three 1/4"-20 accessory mounts for extension arms, monitors, lights, and more. For shoots where even a lightweight tripod may be more than required, the center column attaches to a removable leg to create a full-sized monopod.

Can this tripod be used with a gimbal head as well? Id like to use it for both the ball head and potentially a gimble head in the future but im not sure how well the gimble head would mount on the center column?
Yes. Simply remove the attached ballhead to reveal a 3/8"-16 mounting screw that can be used with your gimbal head.
While it would mount without issue, take precaution when using larger gimbals/lenses/bodies as travel tripods are typically not strong robust enough to handle larger systems during bird/wildlife photographer well.
