The FastBox Color Correction Filter Kit with Diffuser and 40° Grid from Angler is a dedicated color correction kit for FastBox octagonal softboxes. This kit includes five filters for rapid color correction and adjusting color casts. Each filter or modifier attaches to the front of the FastBox magnetically, so adding and swapping the included tools won't cause delays during a photoshoot. The magnetic mounting system allows the filters and modifiers may be stacked and combined for customizable effects.
CTB Blue Color Correction Filters
The CTB blue filters raise the color temperature of a tungsten light to closely resemble cooler natural daylight for matching the color of other daylight-balance lights or ambient light. Two different strengths are included that can adjust the color of a 3200K source to approximately 4400K (1/2 CTB), or 5600K (full CTB).
CTO Color Correction Filters
The CTO Orange filters lower the color temperature of a flash to a warmer color cast that resembles tungsten lighting. Use them to create a warm and friendly tone to match the effect of indoor, or even fireside lighting. Two different strengths are included that will convert a 5600K light source to approximately 4400K (1/2 CTO), or 3200K (full CTO).
1/2 Plus Green Filter
The 1/2 Plus Green filter adds a green color cast to the light source that balances the flash with fluorescent lights when shooting with fluorescent light fixtures or in a location like an office.
Diffuser
The diffuser softens the flash to minimize the harsh shadows that are ordinarily created by a bare flash. It also and spreads the light source around the interior of the FastBox, broadening the beam for a beautiful wrap-around light that will flatter subjects.
Honeycomb Grid
The 40° honeycomb grid narrows the beam into a soft-edged circle that can add drama and style to the exposure by highlighting a specific area of the subject and controlling light spill.
Gel Frame
Use the gel frame to add colored gels and add a touch of individual style and personality with custom colors. User-supplied gel filters available separately.
