question

Do the bulbs blow as easily as lowel pro light bulbs?
Asked by: Keevan
Do you touch the bulb when placing it in the fixture? One of the first things I was taught on my first job was never touch a bulb when inserting it into the fixture. The oils on your hand gets on the bulb and when turned on, the oils heat up and the bulb will blow. I've had both Arri's(currently this 150 and a 300) and Lowel lights over the years and never had bulbs go out prematurely in either brand. While I believe Arri makes a more durable light than Lowel, you shouldn't have bulb issues if A) Buy a quality bulb, B) Never touch the bulb and C) Handle your lights with more care than an ABC7 news crew.
