Wooden Camera 281400 Reviews

A frustrating, but best solution short of an expansion modul

This cable is well built, very flexible, and does the job. However, it is listed as an inward right angle when in fact it fires outward off of the left side of the camera - thankfully the connector is remarkably short and it doesn't interfere with my typical Easyrig configuration of cradling the camera under my right arm. Overall, outfitting the Komodo is a frustrating experience as to connect a SmallHD Indie/Cine 7 to it for external control you need both this cable and the SmallHD USB/Control cable, adding $250 to the overall cost to get control via the SmallHD. I guess that's more of a gripe with RED/SmallHD, but, the experience of trying to get this entire setup configured became very tedious and frustrating. That being said, this cable works, gives you enough length to get from the Control port to the lens mount, and seems like it will do the job for a while.
