The THALIA 65 90mm T2.2 LPL Mount Cine Lens from Leitz Cine features markings in feet and provides a dreamlike soft focus look on one end of the aperture and a high-contrast realistic look when stopped down. The lens is intentionally designed with under-corrected spherical aberrations to achieve a distinct bokeh. At the same time, a circular 15-blade iris ensures circular out-of-focus highlights that further enhance the bokeh. The aberration increases towards the periphery of the optical system, which is what enables precise control of the depth of field and the degree of diffusion by adjusting the aperture.
