For a workflow with an M1 Mac and an Asus PA329c, how is this different from having the monitor plugged via USBc and having Resolve displaying the picture with Clean Feed Output?

The monitor connected to display port will be the characteristics of the desktop graphics. Connected to the UltraStudio will be the exact video driven by Resolve and is not controlled by the OS graphics.

While i have not tried this myself, an associate of mine could not get it to work on a 2013 mac pro (trashcan) with the usual TB2-TB3 adapters. Most likely because it does not get enough power from the thunderbolt2 bus.

This product only processes up to HD video signals. it cannot accept or transmit anything higher than HD.
