It mounts to devices with a 1/4"-20 receiver, and the top side of the unit features a 1/4"-20 threaded screw surrounded by a circular platform of anti-scratch rubber. Additionally, this portion of the ball head can be flipped for devices that mount via a cold shoe. Made for on-camera lights, small monitors, and microphones, the ball head offers a ball tightening knob to adjust the angle of your equipment, and a head base plate knob lets you loosen and tighten the unit for horizontal panning.
