I hate the Nanlite V-Mount battery grip, it's terribly cumbersome as it bumps against knobs on lightstands. Bought a D-tap cable and this simple mount to attach a V-mount battery to the Forza yoke. Works great, and still easy to handhold the light if needed.
I'm not sure why, but I was very surprised that the V-mount portion is also metal making the whole thing very burly. Not great for weight in travel, but for durability it definitely should help this last, even being kicked around set.
