Godox AD300Pro Overview

With impressive performance and freedom from the AC outlet, the AD300pro Outdoor Flash from Godox is a great asset on location or in the studio. With its monolight form factor and weight of just 2.8 lb, the flash is ready to travel. Its lithium-ion battery will give you up to 300 full power flashes with recycle times from 0.01 to 1.5 seconds with a 9-stop power range and high-speed sync times as short as 1/8000 second. It additionally has action-stopping flash durations from 1/220 to 1/10200 seconds.

It was clever of Godox to employ an LED modeling light for low drain on the battery but this one is variable from 3000 to 6000K in 10 steps, making it definitely usable for video. As if all of this isn't enough the AD300pro has a built-in 32-channel receiver with 5 groups for wireless control with a separately-purchased transmitter. The flash comes with a reflector, battery, charger, and a carry bag.

Godox AD300Pro Reviews

Good for price

The lights are great, and pretty easy to learn. The backpack is one of the reasons for getting the kit. However it's not good quality. The zippers are destroying the material, and the shoulder straps are allready breaking.

Outstanding Kit!

Hi All. I'm still a bit new to portrait photography and the AD300Pro 2-Light Kit was my first real flash purchase. I absolutely love this kit. The backpack is of good quality and the carrying cases fit neatly inside the backpack. I feel like my gear is well protected. As far as the flashes, I've found them to be very effective in my small home studio. Also, the flashes seem/feel to be of good quality. Finally, the umbrellas and the softbox w/ grid are of good quality and easy to use. I highly recommend this kit.

I have been a Pro photo user for years till I came across Godox. Build quality is not as robust as Pro photo but with a little care this light will last years, this is the fourth one I have purchased with no issues at all. As far as performance goes Godox products stand shoulder to shoulder with Pro Photo but at one third the price

Should have go it sooner

I have been getting by with speedlites but needed a strobe that could do HSS. Pared with a softbox, this light is A+ . I am blown away. I might pick up another one if it goes on sale again.

I bought 3 of these to use as portable strobes for on location shoots. I watched a number of Godox vids on YouTube (the ones Godox makes, not other reviews) and chose this over the AD400 Pro (I also have an AD100, 2X AD600s, and a myriad of flashes and plug in strobes from Godox). Super happy with my choice. I have now used them for 3 shoots over the past two weeks and they have worked flawlessly. Godox is hitting their stride in a number of ways - but particularly with the on-flash interface. My only complaints are nitpicks. 1) I would love to see more Godox mount modifiers, but the light worked fine with an S2 bracket and my bowens boxes. Just means I have extra stuff to deal with. 2) The battery takes a little bit of an extra push to ensure it is seated. I am at a point where I could buy any light I wanted - but after starting off with Godox as a way to get some lights I could afford - I am finding they are a competitive light company now. I am sticking with them for the long term now.

I'm and industrial photograper who shoots in many manufacturing facilities and new homes and for real estate. Iam formerly an Elinchrom user for many years. They are great lights, but a little pricy. I needed a flash that used no battery pack. Ilooked at the Elinchrom 1, but it was almost twice the price. I've had this for about a year and it has never let me down. I bought it on sale with a small softbox and stand. Iknow it is not Swiss made, but it truly a great value and has worked well in wireless mode

I have even been using this in studio for a small fill light but it is plenty powerful for location set ups. Love the size and simplicity of all godox .
