When you can't lay down a track but need to follow your subject with a smooth tracking shot, the Magnus Versatile Camera Rickshaw from Proaim can save the shot. Lightweight and portable, this camera rickshaw is designed for handheld or Steadicam-type tracking shots with an onboard operator, or it can be used with a separately available platform as a camera dolly. It enables the operator and/or camera to be pushed or pulled by a grip to facilitate complex tracking shots, especially over uneven terrain.
The two large rear wheels and two swiveling small front wheels create a smooth path, and the large wheels can be adjusted inward or outward for different loads. The adjustable push/pull bar tilts 90°, allowing the grip to push or pull the rickshaw in multiple configurations. It includes a height-adjustable seat with front-to-back positioning, two footrests, and a safety belt to keep the operator secure.
The Magnus is easy to assemble and break down without tools. A heavy-duty flight case is included to store and transport the rickshaw.
