B&H usually has quick shipping but this took over a week. I can understand with the holidays but it is a ring in a box that could have gone 1st class mail, but no, they put it in a 10"x8"x6" box and it took forever and its the wrong size so returning it is stupid.
Excellent

Any vignetting? I would be using 37mm macro filters on 46mm lenses. Thanks!
Regarding the Sensei PRO 46-37mm Aluminum Step-Down Ring, yes, using 37mm on a lens with a 46mm diameter may cause vignetting.

Is the description backwards? This looks like it allows one to use a 72mm filter on a 67mm lens. Why would you use a filter that is smaller than the lens?
this is a step-down ring. If you have a 72MM filter you can use that on a 67MM lens. Most of the time your lenses are all different sizes. If you buy the biggest filter you can use them on there lenses with a step-down ring.

question
I have a Canon 24-70mm ef L lens f.2.8 uses 82mm filter. I want to step down to myCanon 24-105mm ef L lens with 77mm filter will this step down ring work?
M.E., This ring is employed to use a LARGER filter (82mm) on a lens that usually takes a SMALLER filter (77mm). It should work perfectly well. IF one were to do things in the opposite direction (smaller filter on larger lens) then vignetting occurs, which is cutting off the corners of the image and should be avoided. Hope this helps. Lee
