The K-Tek KPTA is a modular accessory for the KlassicPro series of boompoles that attaches to the bottom of the pole (available separately) and allows you to mount and connect the plug-on transmitter of your choice (available separately).
The unit requires a KPCK cable kit (available separately), which provides the internal cable for the KlassicPro boompole and features a TA3F connector that plugs into the KPTA's input. Simply screw the KPTA onto the threaded sleeve at the bottom of the pole and plug the transmitter into the up-facing male 3-pin XLR connection—no soldering required.
Constructed from machined aluminum, the adapter measures 5.5 x 3.2" and features the KlassicPro black anodizing process for a smoother feel and better grip. The adapter weighs 7.7 ounces and is designed to work with an attached transmitter to function as a counterweight for better balance when using the boompole.
