The Tokina TA0012 SZX T-Mount Adapter allows the SZX 400mm Super Telephoto lens to be attached to Canon EOS-mount camera bodies. Made of durable lightweight aluminum treated with a scratch-resistant anodized finish, the lens side has M42x0.75" male threads and the body side is outfitted with the Canon EOS bayonet lens mount to fit firmly and securely.

The ting in the photo is much thinner than the actual R to t adapter. Otherwise the adapter is just like any other adapter ring. Works finr.
This is the second Tokina T-adapter I've received where the inner ring with the M42x.75 threading was not properly secured by well-tightened set screws. One of them just fell out (!!!) and another spun in its grooves. Make sure you have a good quality JIS screwdriver to tighten the screws, and then make sure you mount the adapter to the lens first, and then pull and twist on it to ensure all the screws are well seated and gripping.
