Add a solid power package to your portable production package with this Rugged Mini Power Station Kit with 2 x 290Wh Batteries from BLUESHAPE. The kit includes a Rugged Mini Gold mount battery charger case and two 290Wh GRANITE HDplus Gold mount lithium-ion batteries.
The Rugged Mini hard-shell case is impact resistant and watertight, protecting the battery plates and electronics inside. The interior of the case features two 65W Gold mount battery plates, and an AC input allows you to charge the included batteries inside the case. The case is also used to power your equipment using its 14.4 and 28/48V switchable XLR outputs. The batteries are hot-swappable, so the power to your equipment is never interrupted. The batteries feature up to a 20.2A continuous draw and two D-Tap outputs. The case has a data input for management and the two included 290Wh batteries feature Wi-Fi app control.
The Gold mount Rugged Mini Field Production Power Station from BLUESHAPE provides two battery charging bays and three XLR outputs for powering your cameras, lights, and other gear on set and nearly anywhere else. It also features a 4-pin data socket for computer testing, debugging, and calibration. All this is offered in a compact-sized, watertight, and impact-resistant portable hard case with locking 2-step latches and a swiveling ergonomic carry handle.
The case connects to a wall outlet for power using an included 3-prong AC power cable. The battery bays provide simultaneous charging at 65W each and allow hot-swapping so that you can use the case uninterruptedly. The XLR outputs are powered from mounted batteries and can be used even when the batteries are being charged off of AC power.
A 14V 4-pin XLR output is always live, and the 28V and 48V 3-pin XLR outputs are alternately selectable via a selector switch. Two of the three XLR ports can be used at the same time. An array of three LED indicators per each battery bay confirms the current output delivered by a battery on a 0-10A scale.

BLUESHAPE's BG290 GRANITE HDplus battery is designed for the rigors of a film or video set. The textured finish is easy to grab and is resistant to blemishes from drops and impacts. Both the interior and exterior have been tested to survive multiple vertical drops from up to 6 feet onto hard surfaces. The reinforced Gold mount will accept a charge from most standard chargers, though a separately available BLUESHAPE Gold mount charger is recommended.
Aside from being robust, the GRANITE HDplus batteries are also powerful. Power-hungry cameras and lights can draw up to 20.2 amps, between the main battery output and the two D-Taps on the sides. In addition to outputting 14.4 volts of power to charge external accessories, the left-side port supports independent overload protection, and the right-side D-Tap can also be used to charge the battery itself. The D-Tap ports output a combined maximum 5A of power. As an extra measure of protection, the D-Taps have rubber covers that help maintain the IP54 resistance rating against moisture and dust.
While the 5-LED battery meter is useful and convenient, BLUESHAPE also offers a free iOS/Android app that can monitor and control various aspects of the battery over Wi-Fi. The app updates in real-time based on current capacity, charging speed, and power draw. On set, all batteries can be monitored on the same network, so you know when to grab a fresh battery ahead of time.
