It has one knob which locks all 3 joints and hex base that connects the friction arm to the tripod. The included Arca-type quick release clamp can quickly mount anything with a compatible Arca-type base, and has a built-in bubble level.

Is this compatible with an L bracket? It looks like it probably is, but it would be good to know for sure
The ProMediaGear TR01 Mini Tripod with 7" Friction Arm and Arca-Type QR Clamp is Arca-compatible, so it will work with any Arca-compatible L-bracket or plate.

Yes. But will attach via quick release plate 1/4 thread.
