Hosa Technology MID-303RR Reviews
Good quality and price, but BEWARE
)All the quality and value you'd expect from Hosa, but, oddly, the pin configurations are 180-degrees different between the two ends. All this really guarantees is that you'll be able to use it with your gear on at least one end. In my case (a guitar pedal board), that is also the most places I can use it! Both panel connector sites are too close to the floor to allow the other end to be used. My solution was to buy a second one, then splice the two "good" ends into a new, single cable (this will also allow me to set a custom length, which is nice in my cramped pedal board space). However, I have since found that there is a MIDI cable out there meant for guys like me (http://www.one-control.com/cables--connectors.html); it has ends that you can change to either orientation. It costs a couple bucks more than what I did, but would save the soldering work. You'd also have to be happy with it's 30, 50, or 70 cm (about a 1.5 foot) length. Unless you want to do some hacking. Maybe better to just roll up the slack for possible future changes to your rig.
a great little cable
I wanted a midi cable that saves space in my setup and this fits the bill. Works great.
