The M4 type Toad in the Hole quick release receiver is a heavy-duty remake of the original version. It's designed for attaching various heavy-duty loads to Alta series FREEFLY drones, such as securing optional FREEFLY Cargo Landing Gear, which have a matching male Toad in the Hole. It likewise supports other attachments for aerial payload applications. Any load attached can be easily removed from the drone upon delivery and then mounted on another device that has the same receiver.

Fiddling around with alignment is not required when engaging the quick release; just attach and rotate to the desired angle from 0 to 360°. The quick release uses a clamp to secure the payload. This clamp and a secondary safety catch release mechanism are used to release the receiver from whatever it's attached to.
