Bought this for my tripod and it works as intended. If you need the extra height this is a great product

I bought this to extend the total length of my current monopod. I didn’t want to spend the money on buying a whole new monopod. It’s very well made, as one would expect from Leofoto. It does extend the closed length of my monopod a bit as well, of course, but it has accomplished exactly what I was hoping it would for a lot less money.

Can this column be used as an extension with the L

Can this column be used as an extension with the Leofoto GC-282AL Geared Multi-Function Arm to provide additional height and length? If so, is it fully compatible, or are any additional adapters or accessories that would be required for it to work?

While the Leofoto DC-282C Carbon Fiber Add-On Column for Tripods and Monopods can be attached to the Leofoto GC-282AL Geared Multi-Function Arm, it cannot pass through the tilting base. Therefore it would not actually extend the length of the arm.
