It allows you to view everything from prepared slides of microscopic organisms to large objects like gems, rocks, textiles, and coins. The wide base can support larger samples, and you can use the lower LED illumination to clearly see slide-mounted specimens. A simple dial on the nosepiece brings your subject in to crisp focus and a rheostat allows you to precisely set the amount of illumination for the proper contrast and clarity.
