The Camera Plate for Canon EOS R5 and R6 Digital Cameras from Kirk features an an Arca-type dovetail plate and an anti-twist design to keep the camera body from twisting while mounted to the plate. Once mounted, the plate can be connected to Arca-type compatible tripods and monopods. This robustly built unit is made of black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum and includes a slot for a camera strap. Additionally, on the bottom of the plate is a QD socket for Quick Disconnect mounting systems.

Kirk PZ-184 Overview

The Camera Plate for Canon EOS R5 and R6 Digital Cameras from Kirk features an an Arca-type dovetail plate and an anti-twist design to keep the camera body from twisting while mounted to the plate. Fits perfectly while allowing full access to external connections partially blocked by the bracket. Much lighter to carry too!

Has anyone used this Kirk PZ-184 plate with a ...

Has anyone used this Kirk PZ-184 plate with a Really Right Stuff lever release clamp? RRS indicates that not all plates will fit their lever release clamps due to very tight tolerances. The RRS plate for the EOS R5 and R6 is currently on back-order.

Sorry for the late reply! Yes, from our tests, the Kirk PZ-184 does indeed work with the R5C as well. While the R5C is larger, the tripod-mounting base of the camera retains the same shape and configuration.

Does the plate have a threaded attachment on the bottom? This would be for attaching a Black Rapid attachment lug.

Yes it has a 1/4 20 threaded hole, BUT I highly recommend attaching a Black Rapid strap using a Quick Release D ring that Kirk sells. It is far more convenient and secure. The D ring fits into the big hole you see on the Kirk plate.
