I would have purchased the Hosa REAN cables had they been available; however, they are not available in a 2-foot format. This cable, here, is not a REAN cable. However, the clips (connector part) actually clip nto place (SEE my other review about the Kopul 2000 cables), and the cable (cable part) feels decent as relates to the feel of the cable and the thickness. The connectors are not of 5 star quality and feel. Adequate, certainly.

Bought two of these to connect a mixer to an amplifier and so far they are working great. Perfect length to avoid tangling with all the other cables.

Hi Ray,
This cable is unbalanced. One end is RCA, which is an unbalanced connection type. In order to take advantage of the benefits of a balanced cable, the two devices you are connecting must support balanced audio transmission using either XLR or TRS connections.
