The Raynox HD-5052PRO 0.5x Wide-Angle Conversion Lens is designed to attach to the built-in lens of compatible 4K/HDV camcorders. It screws onto the front filter threads of these lenses using included adapters. It features 37mm threading on the rear, and it comes with a 37-37mm coupler ring and 37-43mm adapter ring for compatibility with 37mm and 43mm front filter threads, which are the native lenses of most 4K/HDV camcorders. Different-sized Raynox adapter rings are also available and sold separately for compatibility with a wider range of camcorders.
The HD-5052PRO supports the full zoom range of built-in camcorder lenses and maintains focus throughout the entire range. It additionally offers 62mm filter threads on the front for attaching various filters.
Although this conversion lens can also be attached to standard lenses with 37 and 43mm filter threads, it's intended for camcorders and delivers optimal image quality when used with camcorders. The performance and image quality may not be the same with still lenses.
