SmallHD ACC-CASE Reviews
Massive case without space for the sun hood
This case is freaking ginormous - as in ludicrously large. It's good to have protection, but in my opinion there's way too much here. It fits the monitor well with the battery plate and a Shape VESA mount attached, and there's TONS of space underneath for accessories - In my opinion too much. There's probably about 7 inches of depth just for bits and bobs - I have no idea what SmallHD thinks people are going put down there. I've got the A/C adaptor, Sun hood, VESA Mount, a 100ft SDI cable, an HDMI cable, etc, and it's still 75% empty. However, why is there no place for the sun hood!? It's just crazy to me that in a case this big you can't even fit the most basic of accessories specifically designed for this monitor. I've cut out a section of foam on the level to accommodate the sun hood at the expense of having to remove the VESA mount from the monitor when I pack it, but there was no better way to do it without all new foam.
Does not fit the sunhood
I find it absolutely stunning that SmallHD was able to design a $800 case for their Cine 24 that DOES NOT fit the their own sun hood for the same monitor. What on earth where they thinking?
