This Fixed Apex Conversion Kit from Really Right Stuff provides the parts and instructions needed to convert a select Really Right Stuff Versa Series 2 or Series 3 Tripod to a fixed apex tripod style. Switching to the fixed apex reduces the tripod leg set diameter and weight, allowing tripods to be stored and carried more compactly for travel. The conversion plate features three 1/4"-20 accessory ports with anti-twist grooves.
Please be aware, Leveling Bases or Quick-Columns cannot be used after switching to a fixed apex.
