This Cartoni Maxima 5.0 System pairs the 110 lb capacity Maxima 5.0 Fluid Head with a single-stage aluminum tripod, a mid-level spreader, and a set of tripod feet. The cine-style, flat-base Maxima 5.0 head includes one telescoping pan bar and one short pan bar.
Designed for heavy-duty cine-style rigs, the Maxima 5.0 Fluid Head from Cartoni features continuous counterbalance throughout its 180° tilt range. Together, the counterbalance and a continuous fluid drag system enable smooth diagonal shots and near-free spins. This flat Mitchell-based head supports loads up to 110 lb, and it has a large digital settings display and ergonomically placed knobs and levers.
The Maxima 5.0 head weighs 28.7 lb and comes with a cine-style sliding plate, a telescoping pan bar, and a short pan bar. The camera plate is compatible with ARRI, Sony, and OConnor sliding systems, and the Mitchell base can be used with an optional 150mm half ball base.
