Picked this up last-minute for a trip into the surf and it not only withstood wind, waves and sand, but also the best efforts of my 6-year-old to disassemble it with force. Great image quality and I was impressed at how clean and audible the audio was even with the full cover.
Haven't been able to use it yet, but all arounf it looks great quality and stiff to protect camera.

I bought it for underwater photography and works really well. It might fit a bit but there are tons of solutions for that online.

This housing will protect the camera from weather elements, dust, dirt, small stones, insects, etc. when the camera is mounted to a vehicle. Better to crack the housing than to destroy the camera itself. So, this is excellent protection against those kinds of hazards.
