I Have Used The Hoodman Eyecup For Years. I Wear Glasses, Amd This Eyecup Allows Me To Get A Comfortable Full & Closeup View Instantly. I Wouldn't Leave Home Without It On My Camera (and A Backup In My Bag).

Tight in place but a better view of EVF.

My A7RIV eye cup was broken, so I ordered the Hoodman unit. What I like is that one's eye sits nicely and allows you to see the EVF better, but scared me a bit when installing it, because it was tight.

No, the HoodEYE for the A7/A9-series camera will not work with the A7IV. Unfortunately, it uses a different eyecup and shares the same specifications in size as the A1 and A7SIII.
