Meta 301-00311-01 Reviews

Super long

This seems just like a standard, USB Type C cable, it's just extra long and has a right angle plug on one end that plugs into the side of the unit.. I can have my oculus plugged in and still have plenty of room to move around, so this is a dub. Its bit expensive for just a standard cable but it is definitely worth the extra dollars to have the right one.

Adds functionality and playtime to the Oculus Headset

This is a sixteen foot cable that should come with the Oculus headset and not be a sold separately. It does allow the player to play for longer by charging while playing and allows connection to a computer to broadcast games from the computer with a decent enough video card. It is useful, but should be provided with the main product in my opinion.

Could I use any 5m usb type-c cable to connect oculus to a computer? Does this particular cable has a built-in chip or something that makes it different from other aftermarket type-c cables?
Asked by: Sergey
This is an optical cable which is more flexible and can be a longer length without signal loss. That's why it's so expensive. Any cable will work but this one is higher quality.
