The Presonus PD-70 is a dynamic microphone purpose-built for voice-over in the arenas of podcasting, broadcasting, and live-streaming. With its end-address design and clear and focused audio capture, the mic not only sounds the part—it looks the part, too.

The microphone offers a cardioid polar pattern, which is the best natural defense against unwanted room reflections: this polar pattern focuses audio capture on what ever is in front of the capsule and minimizes sound coming from the rear of the mic. The mic offers a integrated hardmount for setting it up right out of the box with any boom arm or mic stand. It also provides a built-in windscreen. Use it with any audio interface, and enjoy the bundled software that comes with it.

I've had a PD-70 before, and I'm glad to have it again. I have a lower female voice, and the brightness of this mic pleases me. Also, it requires basically no post work.

It sounds nice and clean or as my voice actor friend says Crispy. Note: If you are a Quite Person will need a lot of Gain to Achieve loud Audio with a Dynamic Mic.

Can we use PreSonus PD-70 for record/singing YouTube videos?

The PD-70 is intended for use in broadcast applications, but more for speaking than singing. If the primary application is singing, you may want to consider a microphone designed for singing, like the Shure SM58-LC Vocal Microphone (B&H # SHSM58LC) or Sennheiser e 835 Cardioid Handheld Dynamic Microphone (B&H # SEE835) which are both good for performance and recording, or the Audio-Technica AT2035 Cardioid Condenser Microphone (B&H # AUAT2035) or AKG Project Studio P220 Large-Diaphragm Cardioid Condenser Microphone (B&H # AKP220B) which are large diaphragm condenser mics for studio and live performance.
