Over the years, I've used many Lens Coat covers. This one was more difficult to install than the rest. Turns out the the extra effort on my part makes this fit very nice and seems to provide a nice look. Two things that don't like are the fact that the piece that fits over the extension part of this unique lens is held on with velcro and easily forgotten. I also think that more thought should have been given to the piece that covers the part of the lens that has the stabilizer, focus switch and tripod mount. I'm unable to use that piece at all. In my opinion, this cover is probably the best there is but is lacking. Especially for the price.

The RF 800 collapses for storage. does the cover have to be removed to do this? how hard is it to remove and put back on?
This cover comes with an optional piece for the extended lens barrel which can be quickly and easily put on and removed with its Velcro attachment. This would need to be removed to fold the lens down. It is a quick easy process.
