The iFi ZEN CAN is a fully balanced headphone amplifier that provides plenty of power for your balanced headphones. The ZEN CAN utilizes a Class-A discrete balanced circuit from iFi's flagship headphone amplifier, the Pro iCAN.
The ZEN CAN incorporates 3D Holographic and XBass circuits to provide an immersive sounding listening experience. The 3D Holographic circuit creates a stereo image that provides three-dimensional imaging with height, width, and depth. This is achieved with all analog circuitry (no DSP), resulting in remarkable audio quality without loss of resolution or coloration. The XBass circuit consists of active and passive components that correct any low-end response problems with precision.
The front panel offers a single-ended 1/4" headphone output and a balanced 4.4mm headphone output, as well as a gain selection switch (0, 6, 12, 18 dB) and an analog volume control. Additionally, there are switches for power, input selection, and XBass / 3D Holographic on/off. The rear panel boasts a balanced 4.4mm analog input, a single-ended 3.5mm input, and dual RCA inputs. Additionally, a balanced 4.4mm analog output is offered to connect to active speakers. The ZEN CAN ships with a 5 VDC power supply.

- The 3D Holographic dual-analog matrices place the artist with you in the room. This analog circuit offers an "out of head" listening experience, which is closer to listening through speakers
