Why does the D-tap plug fit into the box, but not the battery or do they? It seems like the D-tap port is a little smaller on the battery vs the one on the box. If so, why is that?
The following battery offers both d-tap and usb-ports for flexibility.
All d-taps are the same size.

Can these batteries be charged with Anton Bauer LP2 chargers? Or other Anton Bauer Gold Mount chargers?
The SHAPE Full Play Gold Mount Battery could have issues charging with an Anton/Bauer charger as this battery does not feature the communication chip Anton/Bauer uses for many of their batteries and chargers.

other answers here are incorrect. Li-ion batteries from 100-160Wh MUST be in carry-on baggage and you may carry up to two of them. from the TSA website:
"Spare (uninstalled) lithium ion and lithium metal batteries, including power banks and cell phone battery charging cases, must be carried in carry-on baggage only.
With airline approval, passengers may also carry up to two spare larger lithium ion batteries (101â160 Wh) or lithium metal batteries (2-8 grams). This size covers the larger after-market extended-life laptop computer batteries and some larger batteries used in professional audio/visual equipment. There is a limit of two spare batteries per person for the larger lithium ion batteries described above (101â160 watt hours per battery. For more information, see the FAA regulations on batteries."

Will these work with Red DSMC2, like the Red Gemini and transfer battery % to the camera?
This may power a RED Camera with a V-Mount battery plate, but it does not have the needed chip for the camera to read battery info. The IndiPRO Tools Micro-Series 150Wh/14.8V/9400mAh V-Mount Li-Ion Battery (Red Compatible), B&H # INRDM150S, is a great option that will work.
