Built for strength and portability, the yellow Pelican 1555AirNF Hard Carry Case is designed to be dustproof, fully watertight, and crushproof to protect your valuable gear against the harshest handling, shipping, and environmental conditions on the planet. This edition of the 1555Air comes lined, but without foam or other inserts, allowing you the freedom to completely customize the 23 x 12.75 x 7.5" interior to your specific needs and to your specific gear.

Your case is made from a super-light proprietary HPX2 polymer, with honeycomb structural elements, so it's up to 40% lighter than most other Pelican polymers It has newly designed dual push-button latches that provide ease-of-use versus previous iterations. Case design features include an O-ring that seals it to an IP67-rating to be dust and waterproof, dual 5/16" (8mm) diameter stainless steel reinforced padlock holes, and a pressure relief valve. This valve regulates the internal pressure, keeping your gear and the case from getting crushed and allowing you to open the case without having to break a tough pressurized seal that may develop. A polycarbonate card holder may be placed on the front or side of the case.

Designed for their 1555Air case, the Pelican 4-Piece Foam Set can be used to replace the foam that came with your case. It can also be used if you need to put different gear in it than originally intended, or as an option if you bought the case without foam. This set consists of a convoluted egg crate foam lid insert, a base layer for the bottom of the case, and two pieces of customizable Pick N Pluck foam. Pelican recommends that you leave at least an inch of foam between your gear and the inside walls of the case to make sure it is well protected.
