The monitor offers SDI 2K/3G/HD/SD and 4K HDMI inputs and loop outputs, and it features numerous video monitoring tools such as waveform, vectorscope, histogram, zebra, and peaking. The USB port allows you to import custom 3D LUTs, as well as upgrade the unit's firmware. The RJ45 RS-485/GPI input allows you to display tally information on the display. The SM7-3K can be powered using a 2-pin input connector or by using a separately available V-mount or Gold mount battery plate.
