Incorrect description
Expert Shield has previously offered two versions of this product, one high quality version made of glass and one lesser quality version made of PET, which to the common person means plastic. In spite of their description of this item being made of glass, they do specify in the long description that it is actually PET. As of June 2026 I have spoken directly with Expert Shield and confirmed that they have discontinued the superior glass version of this product. I purchased a couple of the remaining glass stock items from another vendor and discovered that Expert Shield's description of hand polished edges was incorrect. The edges of the remaining stock appear to be as-cut, which means sharp edges and very sharp pointed corners. As the glass version is a bit thicker than the PET version this is easily noticed when using the camera.
Customer Service is Outstanding
I purchased the anti-glare protector, which was a mess after installation. It did not install as described. I have installed lots of screen protectors on various cameras, phones, and tablets in the past, with no issues at all. As a result of the poor installation, I reached out to customer service and they sent me a complete set of replacements, though they sent me the standard, glare, replacement by mistake. Since, I was going out in the field that day I installed the glare set (with no issues at all) to temporarily protect my gear. I then reached out to customer service once again and informed them that they sent me the wrong set. With no hesitation at all, they sent another set of anti-glare protectors overnight. Once received, the second set installed easily and perfectly. Coodos to Expert Shield for great customer service and a great product.
