Synology DDR4 SODIMM ECC Reviews
Wish bh automatically does nas compatibility
Purchased it for 1825+ threw the package the learned it’s not the ram for on compatibility on Synology website. My error, my fault. It still worked, luckily. Now that I am learning more about nas I wish I went with 2x16 tb instead. Ram cache seems to really speed things up. I’ve shut the nas a few times to cable manage. Upon initial boon and ram cache not utilized the slowdown is noticeable compared to when frequently access files are cached on ram.
Works as Advertised
How does one rate a memory card? It either works or it doesn't. The one I purchased is working quite well. It installed very easily. It passed the Synology memory test. It's being used by the applications running on my NAS. Now, this may all change in five years, but at the moment all is well.
