The Nanlite Pavotube Transparent Polycarbonate Clip and Mini Ball Head with Hot Shoe Adapter is recommended for usage with the Nanlite PavoTube II 6C and other small T12 fixtures. However, I would not recommend using it with a larger fixture such as the Nanlite PavoTube II 30C RGB LED Tube Light (4'). I would not mount a 4-foot LED tube light on the hot shoe of a camera. I would recommend mounting the unit on a light stand. The stronger Nanlite Pavotube Single T12 LED Tube Holder with 5/8" Receiver, B&H # NAHDT121LA, would be a better mounting option for connecting the Nanlite PavoTube II 30C RGB LED Tube Light to a light stand. How close to 1-11/16" would this be in diameter ...

How close to 1-11/16" would this be in diameter when closed? Also, my tube is 5-3/8" in circumference, if that helps. FYI: It's the SUTEFOTO TP25-RGB.

This is a T12 clip. T12 is a 1.5" diameter.
