Designed for photography, video editing, audio, virtual machines, backing up, and more, the Mercury Elite Pro Dual 2-Bay USB 3.2 Gen 2 RAID Enclosure with 3-Port Hub from OWC / Other World Computing features dual SATA III 6 Gb/s drive bays that support both 2.5" and 3.5" HDDs and SSDs. It connects to your host system using a 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, which provides data transfers of up to 1250 MB/s. For greater convenience in working with peripherals, there is one additional 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port and two 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports. A built-in hardware RAID supports RAID 0, which provides increase performance, or RAID 1, which provides 1:1 data redundancy. For those who do not need a RAID, JBOD and SPAN are available. A 60mm cooling fan ensures adequate thermal offloading, while a Kensington Lock slot can be used to secure the enclosure. The Mercury Elite Pro Dual bootable in macOS. Supported operating systems include Windows, macOS, Linux, Chrome OS, and iPadOS. OWC's free Dock Ejector app lets you safely dismount the OWC Mercury Elite Pro Dual with 3-Port Hub and any additional external drives connected to it from your computer in a single click. You'll be sure that all data has been safely written before any drive is unmounted, protecting against accidental data loss or corruption.

At 5.8" high x 3.3" wide and weighing under four pounds with SSDs installed, the Mercury Elite Pro Dual with 3-Port Hub is compact, leaving you more workspace, as well as being able to take it anywhere. It connects to any Mac or PC with an available USB port, so it's universally compatible with nearly all USB computers from the last decade up to the latest machines. You can also work cross-platform with Macs and PCs using OWC's MacDrive software (sold separately).
