Insert timecode into your SDI video feed with this HD/SD-SDI Timecode Reader/Inserter from ESE. The inserter features an internal real-time clock, it is capable of reading ESE, ESE Timer, SMPTE-LEC/EBU, D-VITC, or RP-188 timecode formats, and it inserts the selected timecode into the SDI video feed. It supports HD/SD-SDI video input and up to 1080p30 output.
The unit can also insert up to 30 characters of text along with the timecode into the same feed, including time, date, or other text strings, and the size, font, and color are user-definable. It can work alongside other ESE products such as a Timer. The unit can be controlled via the front panel buttons or by using a Windows computer plugged into the USB port with the included software.
