Compact, lightweight, and well suited for on-set work, the Lilliput 5" Touch On-Camera HDMI Monitor can handle DCI and UHD 4K as well as 1080p, 1080i, and 720p signals via its HDMI input. The monitor scales input video to its 1920 x 1080 IPS screen that provides you with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 400 cd/m² maximum brightness, and a touchscreen interface.

A push-button power switch and five buttons sit along the top of the monitor providing access to the on-screen menu system. The IPS LCD touchscreen has a 170° angle of view, side-to-side and top-to-bottom, and allows you to control and adjust the monitor using capacitive touch control. The monitor supports image and camera-related display tools that help ensure your images are in focus and properly exposed. Three 1/4"-20 threaded mounting holes enable mounting the monitor on your camera in a variety of positions.

Function Buttons

The five control buttons on top of the monitor allow you to navigate the on-screen menu system. A sixth button (red) powers the monitor on and off and activates the touch switch.

By far best monitor I’ve seen for the money. Does the same thing as a $400 monitor. However, it is off by some error when it comes to monitor accuracy, very hard to get it to perfectly match the look of what i see on my native camera screen.

Does this output 8V DC from the battery attached to the battery plate or does it only pass through power from the 7 - 24V DC input?

This monitor has a dedicated 5.5mm 8V DC barrel pin output. The 7-24V DC Input is located on the lower right hand side of the monitor the 8V DC output is located on the lower left (when looking at it from the back of the monitor).

The product images emphasize vertical shooting. I do mostly vertical shooting and like this idea, but... Is there anything unique to this monitor for vertical shooting, since neither the description or manual mention anything special for vertical shooting but the pictures make one think so?
