The Bi-Color LED Ring Light from Smith-Victor measures 13.5" and is a unique light source that renders a soft, nearly shadowless look that is flattering to skin tones and seems to bathe your subject in light. Color is variable from 3200 to 5600K to match room or ambient light , match other fixtures, or just to spark creative expression. The fixture's high CRI rating of 95 is an indicator of advanced accuracy in color rendering.
Although the ring light comes with a 5/8" receiver ready for stand mounting, its full, more pronounced effect is in evidence when shooting with the lens in the center aperture of the light. The powerful light outputs the equivalent of a 224W incandescent soft light but conveniently dims from 10-100% and runs barely warm to the touch, removing any worry about subject discomfort. A padded zippered case for storage and transport is included.
