Falcon Eyes F7-MINI Overview

The Falcon Eyes PockeLite F7 mini RGB & Variable Color LED Light with Diffuser & Grid is a robust and pocket-sized LED light with a maximum 5W output that features RGB as well as variable color temperature output. The slim and compact light features 2500 to 9000K adjustable color temperature with a high CRI of 96 and TLCI of 96+. At 5500K and a distance of 1', it delivers a brightness of 1900 lux. You can switch to RGB mode for precise color control including hue, saturation, and brightness. The fixture supports stepless dimming from 0 to 100%.

The dimmer has a host of effects that are available via a downloadable app available for iOS or Android. These effects include a variety of lightning effects, three different emergency vehicle flashing light effects, paparazzi, strobe, and others. The light operates for up to 90 minutes at maximum brightness using the built-in battery, which is rechargeable via a USB Type-C port using the included cable. Accessories include a snap-on diffuser, snap-on grid, small articulating arm, and cold shoe mount. A 1/4"-20 threaded hole on the bottom of the light allows you to attach it directly to your camera, cage, or other support using one of the included mounting accessories.

The app is a joke

The light itself works just fine, but the app won't even connect to my phone. I looked at a video online to see what I was doing wrong and the guy also couldn't get it to connect to his iPhone and switched to an Android. Since I only have the one phone, I can't do that. It didn't cost enough to bother to return, but the usefulness is not the same using the on-lite controls. A big disappointment.

Afortunadamente son excelentes Licea, muy practicas y de gran calidad. En mi Concepto y trabajo son mucho mejores que otras marcas quizs ms costosas. Sper recomendadas.

Can I control several lights independently from 1 phone?

Will this light stay on forever if you have it plugged into an AC adapter through the USB-C charging port? Can you effectively power it through the USB-C charging port?

Although Falcon Eyes only lists the port for charging, they list operating voltage at 5V, which would be just enough to be consistently powered by a usb. http://www.falconeyes.com.cn/en/pro_show.php?id=215
