Unfortunately, the Anton/Bauer Pro Gold Mount Battery Bracket with Sony/Panasonic DC Barrel Output will not support the JVC GY-HC500U camera. However, we suggest the IndiPro D-Tap cable shown below, which does work with the JVC GY-HC500U camera, and the Anton/Bauer Universal Compact Gold Mount Plate shown below:
