QNAP TS-432PXU External HDD/SSD Reviews
Good unit, but needs a RAM upgrade.
I'm using this QNAP as a rsync server on our network. It's just getting art files dumped over to it every night from another QNAP via the 10GB fiber port. About 2-3 GB a day. Roughly 35TB total is currently sitting on it. Anyway, prior to the RAM upgrade, this unit would crash every other day in the middle of copying. The only way to get it running again was a hard reset. Since it only has 2GB of RAM, I think it was just getting overwhelmed and the OS was crashing. After upgrading to 16GB (QNR16DR4K132) it hasn't crashed since. It's small, quiet, fast and now stable thanks to maxing out the RAM.
Very Satisfying
