Packaged together by B&H for your convenience, this Zoom H6 All Black Podcast Mic Kit bundles together everything you need to get started recording a panel-person podcast—or multi-person interviews in the field—nearly anywhere. It comes with the Zoom H6 All Black, an industry standard for broadcast and podcast professionals who take their recording setups with them on the go. The unit's long battery life, field-accessible controls, low-noise/high-gain preamps, six-track recording capability, switchable mic capsules, 96 kHz/24-bit audio capture, and USB audio interface functionality make it a boon to those who record audio interviews for a living in a variety of locales.
Also included are four Zoom ZDM-1 Podcast Mic Packs. Each pack comes with a Zoom ZDM-1 microphone, which is a broadcast-style, end-address dynamic mic with a supercardioid pickup pattern; this is useful so that each vocal stays isolated in the recording, making editing in post much easier. Each mic is tuned to deliver a robust tone with smooth highs and tight lows. Thanks to high SPL handling and a broad frequency response, each mic will deliver a mix-ready sound.
Use the supplied windscreens to protect against plosives or wind noise, if you're interviewing someone outside. Mount each mic on a desk with the included tabletop stands. For monitoring, four pairs of Zoom ZHP-1 over-ear headphones are included—one for you, three for your guests or co-hosts.
