This version of the 2460 has a roomy 16.1 x 12.1 x 6.9" interior with a set of dividers and a smaller soft padded deck case that can be removed and used separately from the hard case when you get to your destination. Dual latches compress the lid's O-ring to ensure its IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating, and a security feature prevents them from accidentally opening in the event of a fall or other impact. For additional security, there are hasps for adding optional padlocks or a tie lock when traveling. Additional features include resistance to ultraviolet radiation and acid, reinforced corners for additional impact resistance, and an automatic purge valve equalizes internal pressure so you can easily open the case after air travel.
