I bought this to shoot with my Fuji GX680 partially hand-held(!). It has worked really well for that since the 680 has a 3/8 tap and it threads in really fast. It also works well for more mundane shooting with the GFX 100S, especially with the 3/8 tap in the Leofoto cage. When fully extended it might be a little more wobbly than my old Slik monopod, which had only two sections.

The camera mounting screw is much larger than on my dslr. What adapter do I need?
The mounting thread on this monopod has a smaller mounting thread inside the larger one. You just have to push down on the edge of the larger one to expose the smaller one on the inside.
